John Santucci Memorial Throwdown

When:  Saturday, September 28th from 9:00-1:00 pm

What: A team-based competition open to all members, regardless of ability level.  Once athlete registration is final, we will create balanced teams.  Immediately following the competition we will have a community BBQ for all members and family (kids are welcome).  Even if you are not competing, please plan to come at any point during the day to cheer on fellow members and enjoy good food and drink with friends!

Why:  This special day is to honor the memory of John Santucci.  John embodied all of the things that make RCF Medfield great – hard working, friendly and supportive.

Who:  This is an internal competition for RCFM members only.  All members are encouraged to register, regardless of ability level.

Cost: $20/athlete.  All competing athletes will receive an event t-shirt.

Winning Team:  The winning team gets their names engraved on the event plaque at the gym!

Charity:  On the day of the event, we will be accepting donations of any amount to be given to the American Heart Association in John’s name.  The fee we are charging registered athletes is to cover the cost of the event (shirts and BBQ).  Once our costs are covered, any remaining proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Volunteers:  For any member that is not interested in competing but would like to be involved with the competition, we will need volunteers to help with judging, athlete check-in and equipment set-up between each event.

How to Register:  Athletes AND Volunteers can register by clicking on the link above and you will be brought to a dedicated event registration page on TRIIB.
