Our non-contact boxing class is 60 minutes of high intensity interval training. We use 14 – 18oz boxing gloves and a heavy bag for a full body workout.
A good punch originates from the floor: legs > glutes > hips > core > back > shoulders > chest and arms. The explosive and powerful movements of punching a heavy bag utilize every major muscle group, burn a lot of fat and calories, increase core strength and rotational power, build confidence, and decrease stress.
It feels great to hit something with all your might. We will teach you and reinforce proper form. At times focus mitts, body weight exercises and additional equipment will be mixed into the heavy bag routine.
No equipment or experience necessary. Gloves and hand wraps are available.
